Spray Painting Equipment

By Al Mu

Depending upon what projects that you may be doing, you need to have the proper equipment in order to paint the proper way, with the proper tools for painting. Having the proper tools and equipment ensures that you will have a good painting project that will be done right. The right knowledge is also key to using these tools for a professional finish. There are at least three different types of painting done by spray painting. There is airless, can and air brush. Let’s look at each one in detail

When choosing equipment for airless spray painting, bear in mind that this equipment must be rugged and long lasting. There are airless spraying machine models that can be used for interior/exterior, residential, commercial, construction and property maintenance. These models generally include an airless gun with a blue robber hose and a tip protector. They also have a max tip of about .023 and a psi bar of 3300/227, a 7/8 hp engine and a weight stand of 42/19. This comes with all equipment included.

The next one that we will look at is for airbrushing. The example that will be used is a popular airbrush series that is well known. This kit can be used for automotive, graphics, t-shirt painting and more. This kit comes with a dual action airbrush head, hose, metal cup, bottle assemblies, storage bottle 6 foot braided cord and wrenches. This is a full kit for the above mentioned usages. With everything included, all you need to do is get the paint. The paints can be bought from the supplier. This is also all the equipment that you would need to get started doing any of the projects listed above.

Now when using a spray can, there is not much equipment that is needed except of course the spray can and a face mask. You would just need to purchase a can of spray paint that is the right kind for your project of choice. There are several makers of these spray paint cans. There are also a couple of different paint types, gloss, flat, metallic, and outdoor. These can be found in any paint store, hardware store or general retail outlet. So they are relatively simple to use. Just point and spray on what you want painted. It is just that easy and that simple to use.

We have talked about the three different types of equipment that need to be used when doing painting of these sorts. All the products that have been listed are done so only for illustrative purposes and not a recommendation for said products. There are many different ways to find the equipment that you would need for any spray painting venture. This can be as simple as going to your local paint store, or by searching online through the internet. You will be able to find the equipment at the right price for you. So now you know what types of equipment need to be used in order to finish the three projects outlined above.
